Suggest Treatment For Hand Pain While Lifting Heavy Objects

Hi, I stupidly decided to punch a wall nearly 3 weeks ago with my right hand. the next day there was a lot of swelling and i couldnt use my right hand for anything, from the 2nd day onwards, my hand recovered significantly and I would say I could use it and it felt about 70% from being fully functional. However, since then, there has been very slow progress in its functionality and I still have trouble lifting heavy objects and feel slight pain when opening doors or pressing against the hand. The left part of my left hand hurts the most or when i clinch my fist, it feels like the nerves might be damaged but im not sure. Do you think it is still in the healing process or should I get it x-rayed? Thanks
