Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdomen Pain With Darker Menstrual Flow

Hello. I am a 21 year old generally healthy female. I have pain in my lower left abdomen, its sharp at times, worse when I lay down, getting up off of a chair several times today I was suddenly dizzy and my vision got hazy. I also experienced a faint pain on my lower left back area, but then went away. I pushed down on the area that hurt while laying down and the pain radiated to my right shoulder blade. I have had this pain before in the past month to 2 months or so just not as sharp. My menstrual cycle is pretty normal as far as being on time and always being 7 days long. However since last Nov my periods have been really dark, thick, and not what they use to be. About 2 weeks ago I stopped my oral contraceptive that I had been on for 4 years, but the problem was their prior to stopping the oral contraceptive.

I am going to my an appt to see my physician but is there anything you can tell me?
