My 25 yr old daughter has suffered w/mouth ulcers since she was in her early teens. In July of 09 she had her first labial ulcer. She was a virgin at the time. She is now sexally active and continues to have labial ulcers. Her outbreaks occur every few months. SHe has seen a family doctor, a rheumatologist, a dermatologist and a gynecologist. She has tested negative for all STDs. She went to a dermatologist today who think her current labial sore, which looks like a laceration, is related to an autoimmune condition. Is there anyone out there who know what she has/how to treat it, etc. She is miserable and I don't live near her to hold her hand while she endures the pain related to this. Is diluted tea tree oil helpful?
