Suggest Treatment For Pain And Stiffness In Feet With Negative ANA

I am 48, and I have had an undiagnosed medical problem since 19. As I get older it is getting worse. I have an elevated SED rate, 46 one time, 42 another. My CK is elevated, cannot remember the number. ANA negative. Symptoms: When I have the "attacks" they last for months. They build gradually, and leave just as slowly. I experience pain, swelling, and sensitivity to touch. When this started, it would only affect my feet. The first time it only lasted about 3 days, and it was impossible to walk. For about 15 years when I would have the attacks it would only affect my feet. Felt like I was walking on sharp rocks. The pain would get better as I forced myself to walk, and was the worst when I woke and first walked. About 7 or 8 years ago the attack hit my back. I had a lot of pain, stiffness, and a lot of difficulty in standing straight. Every time I stood up I would have to walk humped over for about 2 to 3 minutes until I could stand up straight. This time the attack started in 11/2010, and although better, not gone. This attack hit my hips down to just below my knees. I have a very difficult time standing up after sitting for any length of time. I had an MRI on my right knee and results showed torn Meniscus, Baker's Cyst, and possible bone Infarct. I had absolutely NO problems in either knee prior to this "attack". Toward the beginning of each "attack" I am absolutely exhausted and have a very difficult time staying awake. I also get sick a lot! I seem to catch everything and anything when going through the attacks. I get sores in my mouth, rash on my chest and head, not on my face. Rhuematologist says not RA, nor Lupus. If I can't get this figured out and treated I'm afraid I'm going to lose my job. I'm off sick too much. Any help will be really appreciated.
