Suggest Treatment For Raised Pinkish Spot Around The Pelvic Area

I have a dark purple spot on my side around my pelvis. It starts as a pinkish spot about 2 cm across and one high and in a week it s full blown dark purple with light purple around it. It s raised in the middle. Sometimes it disappears completely and gradually comes back after a couple weeks. Always in the same spot.

Hello,

Dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. and I suspect this is not one of the more common issues.

Raised bloody areas can be from an immune response (erythema nodosum) but it doesn't appear at the same spot.

With this disorder the blood vessels are broken and inflammmed. there can also be situations in which the blood vessel is broken and just stays in one spot.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
