i have redness underneath and atop a mole, it itches terribly, and it is causing alot of pain i thought it might be a pimple and the first few days i tried popping it with no result and ive been leaving it alone now for a while but it just looks and feels aweful..... what might it be pimple or skin cancer? or something else?

i have redness underneath and atop a mole, it itches terribly, and it is causing alot of pain i thought it might be a pimple and the first few days i tried popping it with no result and ive been leaving it alone now for a while but it just looks and feels aweful..... what might it be pimple or skin cancer? or something else? ive tried popping, applying lotion, creme, and acne solution.
