Suggest Treatment For Scalp Tenderness Post Injury
Hi, A 15 lb metal pole fell on my head a few months ago. I did not get a concussion but it was a pretty severe blow. A huge lump rose on my head immediately and my scalp has been tender since the accident. I also have a significant dent in my head where I was hit. That same dent shows a complete bald spot. Almost a perfect circle. I am wondering if this is due to the trauma or something else like alopecia?

It could be just a contusion or inflammatory pain. As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
