Suggest Treatment For Severe Shoulder And Neck Pain
Morning, i have been suffering with cronic neck & shoulder pain, for some years n & have had multiple physio session even acupunture, but problem just seemed to get worse. Yesterday i went for an Ultrasound scan, which the doctor said that it wasnt my shoulder so i have to go back for an MRI as is probably more muscular in neck or possibly spine. I did however have a steriod injection into my shoulder to help with the pain. Which up until 4/5 hours after i had no problems but then i am in agony & unable to move my arm without agonizing pain. Is this standard?
As per my clinical experience, the inability to move shoulder without pain and no relief with multiple physio sessions indicate that underlying problem has distorted the anatomy to great extent. The cause may be ranging from frozen shoulder, ligament tear, fibrosis or else. However, kindly provide me the plates of your MRI shoulder for further detailed study and let me understand it more precisely to help accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
