Dear doctor,
I underwent acrostic neuroma (brain tumor) excision, couple of times during the years â?? 2005,2006 and 2007.
With the final surgery (May 2007) I am experiencing severe neuro-muscular (unbearable & rigid) stiffness in the rear of my neck (which is the main area opened during surgeries), which results in heavy discomfort and makes my daily-life miserable. The suffering always gives the feeling of finishing my life.
The main point I am trying to emphasize is that when I (squeeze and pinch mostly outwards) apply certain amount of pressure at a certain point of my surgical area I feel great relief. But as soon as I stop, I start feeling the severe stiffness again.
So I always used to keep pulling this particular area to minimize the suffering, I mostly think itâ??s impossible to live with this for the rest of my life.
I strongly feel, that some muscle/nerve/blood vessel has been wrongly connected or touching each other during the surgery. I feel it get disconnected when I pull or pinch.
I humbly request you not to conclude this as a post surgical complication, since some mechanical movement makes a great difference I feel something can make me to at least make me survive in the minimum living condition.
