Suggest Treatment For Swollen Ankle After Having Tibia Fracture

Hi I broke both my tib/fib on 21st Dec, had a plate and pins op on Xmas eve, have been wearing an air boot for 6 weeks with all going ok, this weekend my ankle has now become very inflamed (Tibia side), angry, swollen and sore to the touch. I can't even stand to put the air boot on. Should I go back to fracture clinic or my GP?
