Suggest Treatment For Throat Infection

PleaFor the past six months, this Vietnam Veteran (A/O exposed) has been hocking up these very thick balls of mucus from my throat that are really nasty. From as small as a couple of cm. up to the size of a jelly bean W/blood. From clear to light & dark gray and green but always with small black specks throughout.

I am 61, a cronic pain patient, diabetes, rare peripheral neuropathy in both feet, ain't life a kick?

My Doc has had me on 2 different nose sprays, antibiotic, 2 months of Spiriva, and a chest x-ray done 2 weeks ago and I still don't know the results. Have any ideas? I'm tired of spitting into tissues 50 times a day.
