I have a bad case of tonsil stones that just won't free themselves. When I woke up this morning my tonsils were actually sore because of the pressure exerted on them from the sheer amount of stones. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain tonsil stones are calcified structures formed due to calcification of food debris and dust that gets accumulated over the tonsils. They are a potent cause of bad breath and causing recurring throat infection.. You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated so that he can remove the stones manually.. You can gargle twice a day with warm saline, do antimicrobial mouthwash gargles, limit the intake of high calcium and dairy products and always gargle after you eat anything.. In case if still the stones are formed in excess and are a cause of recurring sore throatTonsillectomy can be done..
Hope this information helps..
