Suggest Treatment For Tuberculosis While Having Diabetes
hi my name is vivek pathak i am from india.sir my mother is suffering from tuberclosis for almost 6 months her treatment is also going on but no improvement is showned up.i have consulted my doctor they said me that he have done all test and said me that she has likely tb.what does likely tb means i dont know they said me that they see consolidation on left chest.please sir suggest me something.she is also a diabetic patient.

As your mother is a diabetic,chance of tuberculosis infection will occur in uncontrolled condition.
to rule out tuberculosis Gold test is recommended.
As consolidation will occur in other lung infection disease like pneumonia.
i kindly advise you to consult a radiologist to rule out the cause for consolidation.
