General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a foruncle which is an inflammation of the hair follicle. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest to clean the area with antibacterial soap and use an antibiotic cream such as Neosporin cream for local application.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
