What Are Symptoms And Chances Of Vertebral Artery Dissection After Having Whiplash?

I was wondering if I should be worried about vertebral artery dissection years ago I had whiplash didn't know it til I went to the chiropractor for neck pain, he said my neck did not have a curve so I went to about 8 sessions until the last one caused me to get really dizzy & I stopped. My neck feels like it gets stuck at the stem going into my head sometimes I move it around getting it to pop, sometimes I have done it really hard. Now I read online this can cause a stroke too much violent movement to the neck. Does VAD happen quickly or can it be something happen slowly would I have symptoms. I do get dizzy from time to time if I bend over.
