Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can assure you, poor cortico-medullary differentiation is consistent with chronic kidney disease.
This change is noted on an ultrasound scan, in patients with poorly functioning kidneys. This's an early indicator of kidney disease.
The most important change is seen with rising level of creatinine, urea, and potassium. The blood pressure may also increase.
If you've any doubt, send it as a direct question, for my expert opinion.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
