What Are The Side Effects Of Crestor?

I was put on a statin called Crestor last week. It immediately started affecting my neck, shoulder and back muscles. As did the Lipitor before it. I stopped 2 days ago and am feeling relief already, but this morning while brushing my teeth, I noticed I am spitting up mucusy blood. Can this be connected to the statins?
