Hi Dr. My motherthinks she has a diverticulum in her throat because a Dr. , who is no longer in her life, had taken an x-rayof her throat area. Is zenker and pharyngeal diverticulum the same. Two months ago or so she found out she had e.coli and the Drs. did nothing for her. She vomits every week or so. How serious is e.cili with this problem. Her new Dr. gave her a test for e.coli and said to come back in 3 weeks. Isn't that a long time lapse if you think someone has e.coli? Thank YOu. Ms. Kelly. ps. My mother is 82, 5.7', 170 lbs, has an aneurism, angina, continual UTI's, kidney disease, liver Ok, lungs OK, cracked vertebrae disc damage, IBS, of an on constipation, surgery to foot and ankle, can't exercise and won't, memory problems, falling because of muscle weakness, I think due to no exercise, and back pain.
