What Can Cause Extreme Heat And Spasms On The Right Side Of The Chest?

What might cause two sudden short episodes of extreme heat with a spasm of significant pain inside the right side of my chest? It felt like a gush of super hot fluid with pain moving from closer to center towards the right side These two episodes occurred back to back, lasting about one minute, occurred suddenly at rest, not associated with food. No other symptoms at the time but I now seem to have a nagging sort of pain under my right shoulder blade that has lasted a few days. Any ideas?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Possible neuritic origin pain relates to extreme heat and spasm which can be a sign of Costochondritis or else. It is suggested to get an X-ray of the chest for further guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
