What Can Cause Pain Around The Pelvic Bone And Palpitations While Suffering From An Enlarged Ovary?

i have an enlarged right ovary...I have been having pain around my pelvic bone and sides into my back. Also, I have gained weight in 6-8weeks rapidly roughly 1stone. my tummy is hard on the right and soft on the left. Im feeling unwell in general and my head feels heavy and having heart palpitations.... what does all this mean? and what is most likely to happen?

Hi,

First of all, do not panic. Your symptoms can be due to drag on the ovary due to its weight or some kind of pelvic infection.

Also, l will suggest you get thyroid function tests done and get a gynecologic examination including per speculum and per vaginal examination is done.

Please get USG done to rule out PCOS as a cause of your enlarged ovary and weight gain.

Please use Tablet Paracetamol as needed for the pain. Opt for regular exercise regime and a healthy diet.
