What Can Cause Pain In The Lower Part Of The Head Upon Bending Down?

I have a pain in the lower part of my head. It comes and go. It hurts when I look left and when I bend down. I cannot sleep in bed. I have to sleep sitting up. I woke up with this pain a couple of days ago and it hasn t gone away. Sometimes it has a shooting pain.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

The lower part of pain means the front or back of the head?

Pain may be due to sinusitis or cervical spondylosis.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid cool drinks, cold water, smoking and caffeine drinks.

Consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
