What Can Cause Swelling And Burning Sensation In The Foot?
i have a swollen foot that is hot and too painful to walk on. the problem is i didnt hurt it in an accident nor was i stung or cut. I do have brittle diabetes tho and its really serious. What in the world could i have done and should i go to my doctor?
You are having signs of infection most probably cellulitis. In diabetic patients due to peripheral neuropathy sensations are decreased and minor injury might go unnoticed. They are more prone to infection. Visit to physician is highly recommended. Antibiotics and control of diabetes is usual treatment.
