What Causes Parkinson S Disease?

my husband was just diagnosed with parkinsons he is a Vietnam veteran was exposed to a.o. along with 2 more that were used same way over there . he is 67 . 11 yrs ago the dr said flashbacks and seizures but never had a seizure before that. now a trip to e.r. n they say p.d. n prob misdiagnosed 11 yrs back. should I even entertain this notion n start learning about p.d. or speak up n loud n make them show me medically how this cld of happened ? sorry I didn t realize this site was not drs wanting to help its a pay me for an estimate answer . I would never put that information on the world wide web I m sorry . god bless

Parkinson's disease is caused by a loss of nerve cells in the part of the brain called the substantia nigra. Nerve cells in this part of the brain are responsible for producing a chemical called dopamine.
