What Causes A Release Of Audible Wind From The Vagina?

I am a post menopausal woman of 57 with three adult sons. For the last few weeks I have been experiencing release of audible wind from my vagina. This is very embarrassing as I have no control over it. Seems to happen most when I stand after sitting.
