What Causes A Strong Smell In The Vagina?

Hi, I'm 17, weigh 70kg, am female, and am 5"3. Ive had thrush before and urinary tract infection quite often. Recently (3 days ago) I had sex with my boyfriend, we used latex condoms, and ever since Saturday, I have been having a strong odour from my vagina. Im pretty sure it smells like latex. How do I get rid of the smell? And how do I prevent getting it again?
