What Causes Blackish Blue Bruise On Getting Hit Or Pinched?

Hello Doctor, for my son we have obsereved , if he get hitted in his legs or in hand , a blackish blue color is apperaing inside the skin, and persist for a week or too , even if we pinch him , that is getting balckish blue in his body, kindly suggest what we have to do?
