General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Ma'am, Hi
I can understand your concern for the safety of Levaquin.
It seems to be due to side effect of Levaquin.

Used as an antibiotic to treat bacterial infection Levaquin (Levofloxacin), although less common but it can cause serious side effects like tendonitis and even rupture of tendons resulting in sudden pain, snapping or popping sound, swelling, tenderness, stiffness, or loss of movement in any of your joints.
You are advised to consult your treating doctor to use and alternate but a safer antibiotic to treat the infection you are suffering from.
Hope this answers your query.
A feed back is appreciated.
