What Causes Constipation And Abdominal Pain After Taking Lisinopril?

I started taking 5 mg of lisinopril on April 27th. About 5 days into it I started having a lot of intestinal problems - gas, bloating, constipation, and pain in the abdominal area, particularly on the right side. Could this pain be related to my liver in any way? Is there any connection at all between this intestinal problem and lisinopril? I have taken Miralax for 4 days now and have had very little success with having a normal stool. I still have the pain and the gas. My doctor switched me from 2.5 mg Bystolic to the lisinopril to give me more energy since the Bystolic was making me feel so tired. I had no other issues with the Bystolic. A few weeks ago I had to take Omnicef for a sinus infection and I am not sure if that can cause intestinal problems weeks later or not. I am 62 years old, female, and weigh about 154 pounds. I also take levoxyl for thyroid and zyrtec for allergies.
