Hi,

I'm 28 years old. I was on the pill for 5 years and stopped it in September 2010. I've had my period non-stop since February 18. It stopped last Saturday and started again this past Thursday. My period is very dark (more like spots) and has a bad smell. Is this normal? My gyno says it's hormonal imbalance, but I think it may be something else. Would you know what it is? My husband and I are trying to conceive, but my period is in the way.
