What Causes Delay In Periods?

I was prescribed Duphaston from day 19-26 to regularise my periods. I have been on it for two cycles. The first cycle I got my period 3 days after stopping duphaston. Now on my second cycle I stopped duphaston 8 days ago and still have no period. Is this normal??
