What Causes Delay In Periods?

Hi,My husband and I are trying for a baby. My period is 3 days late and my breasts are producing colostrum. The test I did this morning was negative. My cycle is 24 days so this is day 27. Am I likely to be pregnant? Should I be concerned? Many thanks for your help.
