What Causes Delayed Periods And Clear Discharge With Blood Streaks In It?

Hi, my period is 4 days late. Been having cramping in lower stomach region for a few weeks. Yesterday I went to the bathroom and had some thick clear discharge, with a blood streak in it. The blood was normal color, not dark red just red.I haven t had any blood since then but did have cramps today again, just once for a few seconds. What does this mean?
