What Causes Delayed Periods?

Im a 15 year old girl and recently had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend, he assures me nothing happened during having sex, i have also recently had a virus called ebstein barr and only now my blood levels are norma, i was meant to hve my period last week and still none, could this simle be from me recovering from that virus? Or could i be pregnant?
