Hello. I am desperately trying to find answers to my 13 week old grandsons death this past week. He was found in the a.m. and had already turned blue. The autopsy show no signs of any physical trauma whatsoever. Both sides of his nose was completely covered in mucus and was as far up as his eyebrows and forehead and had a tinge of blood in it. I have been told that it could take a while for the toxicology report on the mucus to come back because a huge backlog. He had been congested for about a week and a half and his mother had not taken him to a Dr. She has just been suctioning his nose with a bulb. He was with me the night that he past and the guilt is just about to destroy me!!!! I need any info that you could possibly give as to why there was so much mucus and could this have been sids?
