What Causes Fishy Vaginal Odor?

Hi I have a fishy vaginal odor all of the time. I cant smell it nut according to others it can permeate a room. I keep clean. No soap inside, gentle soap outside. Wipes after peeing. Why do i still smell like fish. Could it be.smegma or is it bv inside
