What Causes Freckles And Dry Skin?

over the period of two days my skin on my hands and arms became filled with what looks somthing like freckles and my skin became all dry and the backs of my hands became all crackled something like snake skin like if you krinkled up a pice of celophane or something like that like my skin is realy dry and ready to peal or crack off. What do you think this could be caused by a health problem or a medicatoin reaction.
