What Causes Freckles And Rash On Cheeks And Chin?

Hi. About a year ago I was diagnosed with Rosacea and began to take Doxycycline and Benzaclin. I was also put on birth control. A few months later I woke up with a rash on my chin that I assumed was from the Benzaclin. I stopped taking benzaclin and continued to take doxycycline and my birth control. The doxycycline really did not help the rash; in fact I believe it made it worse. A few months later I decided to stop taking my birth control because my rash on my cheek and chin began to get worse. The rash never went away and one day I woke up and the rash had spread from one cheek, to the next, to all over my chin. The rash was bumpy, itchy, and burned if I put anything on it. I went to the doctor and they gave me a steroid cream and told me to stop using my face wash. The steroid cream helped for a couple of weeks and then one day I woke up and it was worse than ever. I stopped taking doxycycline because I believe it was making it worse. About a month ago the rash had spread to the sides of my mouth and below my nose. My skin began to dry up and flake and I could not put anything on it i.e moisturizers, tea tree oil, because the rash would grow. The rash finally went away a few weeks ago but now is back. My skin is bumpy but not pink and there are dark spots all over my cheeks. Not to mention I noticed two new freckles have popped up. What is wrong with me!
