I am a 33 year old who had an abortion on 10/27. I had extremely heavy bleeding from 10/31 - 11/3. I then had what I believed to be a normal period from 11/11 - 11/14. On 11/20 (a Saturday night), I had unprotected sex. I took the morning after pill on 11/22 (Monday morning). I then bled 11/27 and 11/28. On 12/11, I spotted a bit, but not a lot. I've not had any bleeding or period since and am concerned that I may be pregnant. I've taken 5 home pregnancy tests and they've all come up negative (most recently at 5am this morning), but I've been reading online about all these horror stories of people having a bunch of negative tests and then finding out that they're pregnant 10-12 weeks. And, that after an abortion, your fertility increases. In your professional opinion, should I be worried? I feel like I'm completely stressing out over this and it could be the cause of the late period. Or, could my body just be completely screwed up right now because of everything it's been through? Please respond.
