What Causes Inability To Breath From Nose?

i cant breathe with my nose but use my mouth instead ever since i can remember i wake up in the night with my mouth open knowing i brethed with my mouth. and when i physically try to breathe with nose i use only one nostril, and the other has no air flow but at times they switch . and it feels like one lung not breathing.
