What Causes Irritation In The Throat?

I have a constant need to clear my throat. It s like I have a little catch/irritation in the back of my throat. I have a little phlegm with each clearing of my throat. This issue comes and goes and usually stays around for a week. Is this something I should be concerned about?

throat infection are very common.. and it usually take 7days to resolve.. it resolve by its own also.. whenever throat infections occurs.. u can take antiinfalmatory medicine like chymonac twice a day for 3 days.. it will resolve your problem within 3 days.. no need to worry.. avoid chilled n cold water intake
