What Causes Itching In Inner Labia And Painful Sex?

I've started to get a raw feeling in my inner labia, occasionally its very itchy, and everything irritates it, wearing underwear, even walking. And having sex is too painful to happen now. It feels like its kind of swollen and tender but never noticed what it looked like before to compare if it actually has swelled. Ideas / fixes would be appreciated.
