Hi

My husband has the following symptoms:
- red rash all over body, worst on ears, neck and in skin creases (underarms, elbows etc.)
- the rash has small bumps in it
- it is severely itchy
- he has had this for 6 days
- antihistamines are not helping
- he has severe lethargy
- his throat is not sore but is red
- he has had a fever, but doesn't now
- he keeps getting goosebumps, but never usually gets them and isn't cold
- he has had a bad headache but doesn't now

Our local dr can't decide if it is an allergy or a virus... Allergy doesn't explain the lethargy, fever and antihistamines not working... Virus doesn't explain the itching.

I am very worried abou him, this is out of character... Any other ideas?
