What Causes Loose Stools And Flatulence?

Me and my daughter got a stomach virus that was going around at the same time. This was two weeks ago. But we are still having a problem with gas and not knowing if the we eat, if we will be running to the bathroom. My stools are very loose. Is that normal after having a stomach virus?
