What Causes Loss Of Appetite And Nausea With History Of Liver Infection?

Last month i suffered from liver infection? my doctor asked for some test and my sgpt was nearly 120. he gave medicine and i worked. he said me to proceed for hepitas. ultrasound. and reports are normal. but 2 weelks before i again lossed my apetiate and got feeling of nause. in morning i vomit the acid water and bile. i went to another doc, he also asked me for test like bile, sgpt, sgot. and reports were normal and both doctor asked me to control my dite but i can t do it properly. i eated namkeens and samosas. and today i once again loosed my apetiate and felling nausea. i don t drink the alcohalic drinks or other type of drink. i am 16 years old. plese help me i am worried that if i am having any serious problem?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of liver infection and getting recovered also.
But again there is a problem of nausea and vomiting. The problem now is that all the liver investigations are normal and still have the problem of loss of appetite.
I would advise you the following:
Repeat liver function again, there is no harm in repetition.
Get a prescription of Domperidone, PPI like Omeprazole, and appetizers like cyproheptadine if required and if all the investigations are normal.
Bed rest is very important in recovery from hepatitis which you have not taken in past when it was most important; you can have a bed rest now.
Stop eating outside food.
Upper GI Endoscopy.
Ultrasound or CT scan of the whole abdomen hence
If anything is found on these, get treated.
