My mother is profoundly deaf normally she is very organised, has all the bills paid and is very chatty. Since mid-october she has been acting differently. She has lost her ability to spell properly and use sign lanugage, she is very forgetful but she still manages to cook and drive very well. Her boss informed me that she was trying to write with a pair of sissors earlier in the week. We have been to the doctor and told her bloods tests are fine. They have reffered her to the hospital memory assessment clinic but we are still waiting for an appointment. Please help i'm quite worried it could get worse. Thanks.
