Hi,
I sometimes get muscle cramps in my legs, that result in hard knots that have been known to last for up to a week. These almost always occur in my calf muscles, but I have had a few develop in thigh muscles.
Well, my life has become very hectic, and Iâ??ve been working 3 jobs, all of which keep me on my feet. It didnâ??t really surprise me when I developed a knot in my outer thigh, and I simply was relieved that the pain is mild; sometimes the knots can be so painful that I find it difficult to walk for days. Then, a few days later, a large bruise developed over the hard knot, and although I donâ??t remember hitting anything, I canâ??t be positive that the bruise isnâ??t simply coincidental. At this point, the bruise is mostly healed, but the knot seems closer to the surface of the skin, if anything. Itâ??s painful when I touch it, but otherwise, I donâ??t even really notice it.
This hard knot has been there for about 2 weeks now. I donâ??t have health insurance, so I canâ??t get it looked at. Is it anything to worry about, or simply a persistent muscle knot?
