What Causes Pain/cramping In Leg/ankles With History Of Heart Attack/angina?

My husband has deep pain in his leg and ankles and suffers constantly from cramps. He gets little relief walking it off and showers through out the night. He works hard doing auto body work during the day and gets very little sleep at night. The dr he has discussed this with does not seem to think it s an issue, but living with him, and seeing him suffer every night, there is something truly amiss with my husband. His potassium levels are good, his electrolytes are good, he is hydrated, his blood work is normal, he is not diabetic. Nothing to indicate blood clots. He has had a heart attack two years ago and angina two months ago, he is 53 yrs old. Although I mentioned nothing to indicate blood clots, nothing has been done to rule out blood clots. What do you suggest?

After going through your query I concluded that your husband may be having deep vein thrombosis . Second possibility is vitamin Deficiencies specially vitamin D3 and vitamin B12 deficiency. He is advisable to get his venogram to see deep veins thrombosis and also vitamin D3 and vitamin B12 levels and treat accordingly. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help.
