What Causes Pain In Calf Muscle?

Hi, I've been having random onset pains in one tiny spot on my calf. Before, they would wake me up while I was asleep and I felt like I was being stabbed. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate the pain a 10, and it was so intense, I would start to sweat. It would only last a few seconds and then disappear completely. However, for the last 2 days, I've even gotten them while I'm awake, and now it even hurts to walk. I looked this up online and found no definitive answers. Help?
