What Causes Pain In Hip Radiating To The Leg?

Hello,

I'm a 60 year old, very healthy female. I walk briskly 4-5 miles a day; lift weights twice a week, and take a couple of step classes a week. Lately, I have had severe pain from my right

buttocks down the side of my leg whenever I am standing or walking slowly or baking.

It kicks in mostly when I am shopping!! The pain never seems to bother me when I am

exercising, but one stop at T.J. Maxx, and it kicks in within about 5 minutes. Any ideas?
