What Causes Persistent Altered Taste And Smell, With A Plastic Or Metallic Flavor, After Recovering From COVID?

Hey i’ve had covid in November my taste buds were completely gone they came back around late December and starting mid February my taste and smell are completely different certain things have a plastic or metallic taste and smells just random foods like beef cheese crackers etc and i just thought that it would pass but its been 3 months and its still have not gone away
